Xcede is a recruitment firm specialising in the Digital, Data & Technology space. Our head office is based in London’s West End with virtual offices in Hamburg and Stockholm. We currently employ c65 staff, offering permanent and contract staffing solutions. The business has grown rapidly during the last three years, now turning over £25m with NFI of over £6m. There are ambitious plans to continue to grow the business and further expand the international offering.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Office Administrator plays a key role in the smooth running of the office from day-to-day and producing reports for the constantly expanding business. They are the backbone of Xcede offering support and meeting general office requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level. You will join the growing operations team of a growing recruitment business, working closely with the HR and Operations Manager, helping to shape the team in line with requirements of the business. This is a high-profile role offering access to all of the directors within the business. Great opportunity for development to office manager.

THE ROLE

- Maintaining our recruitment systems with relevant information
- Point of contact for suppliers
- General office administration and administrative support for all departments
- Answering the telephone and dealing with client and candidate enquiries
- Support with the planning and effective bookings of complex travel arrangements, itineraries, visas, currency, medical requirements etc
- Day to day mail management, both electronic and physical, prioritising as required and delivering an organised, prioritised and effective service to the required individuals
- Compliance / GDPR
- Stock taking / ordering / stationary / confectionary
- Ad-hoc admin duties for the directors and CEO
- Meeting and greeting clients and candidates for Xcede

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Administration experience within a similar environment
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your time effectively
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate effectively, both internally and externally with an excellent telephone manner
- Good eye for detail with excellent interpersonal skills and organizational adeptness
- A good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, additional training can be provided
- Ownership of projects to improve the function of the business
- Can do attitude and ability to solve problems
