Paid Search Specialist – Tech Start Up

Tech Start Up – Permanent

The client are an online marketplace that offers a community for both consumers and suppliers in their particular industry to advertise their needs and services on through an officiated platform, promoting quality services and happy customers. Operating on a peer to peer reviewing basis, feedback and experiences are shared for the entire community view to ensure businesses are offering a fantastic level of service.

• Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Manager on the PPC and Paid Social strategy with a focus on driving revenue and ROI.
• Day to day management of large volume and complex paid campaigns.
• End-to-end ownership of paid activity – ensuring the customer journey is clearly mapped out through brand discovery to purchase.
• Initial set up of national PPC accounts, working down to a granular level with geo-tagging.
• Localising channel approach based on day to day market observations and local price comparison.
• Effective daily tracking, reporting and optimising of campaigns.
• Pushing boundaries to exceed target KPIs with a tenacious test and learn approach to identify opportunities for efficient growth.
• Scope to introduce new tech and advertising platforms.
• Ownership of six figure budgets across Google Ads, Bing and Facebook.
• Managing internal and external relationships, delivering performance reporting and insight to internal stakeholders

• Innovative approach to Paid Search including bid strategy, bid optimisation, geo-location, audience profiling, RLSA and day parting
• Experienced using a variety of ad formats
• Solid experience using Google Ad’s, Bing, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Analytics
• Exceptional analytical approach and comfortable working with large datasets
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders to invest in new technology
• Reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be the main revenue driver into the business and define what great looks when driving web traffic across PPC and Paid Social. Coming into this position you will receive support and training from great minds individuals in the industry who have came from leading tech brands.

Experience working on hyper-localised markets in the UK is also a bonus!
