This role supports the Senior Retention Manager in developing & managing the Renewal Invites strategy for a major UK brand.

Retention Planning Manager
Location: Basingstoke
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: OPEN

Day to day duties

- Support the Senior Retention Manager to optimise the commercial performance of renewal Invites. Own and drive the strategy & planning - working alongside a Marketing Manager who will own & manage execution
- Produce insight from data to plan & optimise of Invite activity – helping shape segmentation of the base and development of micro-strategies relating to each segment across different levers
- Work with:
1) Pricing Managers to align ‘offer’ strategy with pricing approach
2) co-ordinate with other areas of the Retention Team to ensure the customer journeys are consistent and joined up and
3) consult where needed with the Group marketing team to ensure in-life activity is driving renewal outcomes

- Support the reporting and understanding of invite performance, including ensuring there is actionable insight and MI on performance, and building a forecast that can help optimise performance

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

- Excel advanced user -able to build forecasts and models to explain complex campaign results
- CRM Planning experience & expertise; including control group and A/B testing analysis within complex customer journeys
- Commercial acumen – focus on revenue and profit creation

Nice to haves
- Exposure to offer optimisation
- Understanding of predictive model application in CRM planning
- Some SAS skills would be an advantage
