Xcede's Data Engineering team are working within one of the biggest disruptors within the Fintech space, who are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join their 360 strong international teams.

This could be an amazing opportunity for an aspiring data engineer with a passion for building and maintaining data pipelines within a dynamic environment and working on one of the most interesting projects within the sector currently.

Your role would be joining a recently 'reshuffled' engineering team to work across some of the companies most interesting projects that'll culminate in the launching of several new avenues for the business. To give you an overview as to what that would entail, they're looking to become a challenger bank having recently obtained a banking licence and you would be integral in the design, development and building of the ETL pipelines, warehouse architecture and Data lakes.

This will involve a vast amount of programming within Python, working within AWS for your cloud solution with the companies 20TB's of customer data. You'll also be given exposure to Kafka for a recommender system being built in-house.

Remuneration for the role is exceptional, fantastic base salary with an awesome salary on top (Bonus, Healthcare and Equity Options)


Strong Python programming experience.
Strong AWS exposure (Ideally Redshift experience but Google BigQuery would also be considered)
Kafka experience would be good but not essential.
Strong Data Warehousing Experience (relational & NOSQL)
