Digital Product Designer, UI/UX

This is a brand new opportunity to join a start-up business that operates within the retail/ecommerce industry based in Central London. The company offer a collection of vintage retro furniture and have enormous ambitions to build the worlds ‘go to’ platform. The company were founded in 2015 and are now making a revenue of £500k per month, as a result they are baked up by some top tier investors and will carry on growing.

This will be the first ever hire as a designer and you’d sit in the Product Team, working alongside a product manager and engineers. Being the first designer into company, you’d play a key position is solving big problems and the prospects are available in terms of career growth.

• They will be responsible for the interfaces that will help the team to correctly list products on their website which currently is 500 per day and they aim to grow this number to over 1 million. Essentially, you will help scale their product pipeline.

• You will ensure that the users are provided a real-life experience when buying products by giving consumers the opportunity to visual the item being in their own home. You will help digitalize their buying experience.

• You’d be responsible for building and testing product prototypes and come up with a solution to help them up scale so everything is consistent.

There are more problems that need solving and they are looking for an experienced designer the vast range of skills to help provide the team on what the best solutions are when working on projects.

You need to have experience working on anything from mobile app design, excellent UI execution to email campaign best practices. It’d be a bonus if you’ve worked in a start-up before.
