As the ETL Developer You will be working on an exciting Greenfield BI project and will be responsible for developing applications and processes that are required to extract, transform, cleanse, and manage data and metadata to be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or data lake.
Given this position is with an emphasis on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL). Persons in this position must understand the development and maintenance techniques surrounding efficient data movement, data-management and data-integration.

Main Responsibilities
- Works with Head of BI and Technical Lead to understand solution vision and create
data integration design
- Designs, develops, automates, and supports complex applications to extract,
transform, and load data from multiple sources into accessible and performant
structures that support analytic needs
- Oversees basic and advanced transformation activities such as normalisation,
cleansing, aggregation, summarisation, and integration
- Defines and implements data quality logic associated with data processing flows
- Plans and conducts ETL unit and development tests; monitors results and takes
corrective action

Minimum requirements
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience with design, development, automation, and
support of applications to extract, transform, and load data
- Must have written ETL within a BI environment
- Proficient in SQL and SQL scripts
- Familiarity with Big Data Solutions (e.g. Data Lake / BigQuery)
- Experience developing analytics solutions hosted in the Cloud is preferred (e.g.
Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work in an agile environment
- Experience of Talend
