Xcede’s Data Science team are working with one of the most popular gaming companies around, who are looking to add another Senior Data Scientist to their team of 5 data scientists within a wider analytics unit of 60+ people. You will be required to supply leadership to the team with respect to cutting edge techniques and technologies. This is an individual who understands the methodologies and not just uses them. You also need to be an effective communicator and networker, able to influence and explain complex topics to business stakeholders. Ideally, you will have experience delivering algorithms to optimize and drive customer behaviour in a real-time context. Experience in some of the following areas is required: Personalization and recommendations, churn prediction and/or other customer behaviour models, contextualization, KYC and AML, payment/transaction fraud detection, novel customer segmentations.

Requirements:

- MSc or PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or similar field
- Ideally 5 years of commercial experience.
- Python and R skills (we prototype – ML engineers implement).
- If you can do both, we like Scala, Java, or C++
