Job description

I am looking for a Full-stack JavaScript Developer to…
• Design, develop, test and run software that provides high quality features for customers and colleagues
• Implement great technology solutions by being a hands on technology expert that set the technical direction and works closely with engineering teams to realise great Tesco Products and Services.
• Improve ways of working across Tesco Technology by designing, implementing and being a champion for new processes & tools, to make things simpler for colleagues, add value for customers and deliver profit for Tesco.
• Work alongside our business colleagues and use our expertise to define problems and opportunities, writing product requirements which consider data driven insight constraints.


• Commercial experience of using Node.js to create high traffic websites
• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks and libraries: (e.g. React, Angular)
• Understanding and exposure to integrating REST API endpoints
• A desire to write readable, maintainable, modular and extendable code
