Data Scientist - Stuttgart - Machine & Deep Learning projects - Industry leader

Since more than 100 years, my client is one of Europe’s leading businesses in their industry, standing out for their innovative thinking that they have proved throughout history.
Driven by the goal of maintaining their leadership while growing further, they are building a new and specialised function, focusing on the topic of Big Data and its advantages, opportunities and problems. These projects are versatile and target e.g. the implementation of a data lake or the realisation of NLP based solutions for data gathering and analysis using Deep Learning methods.

To drive the business forward, we are now looking for 2 Data Scientist to join the existing team of 7, changing the green field into a data driven environment.

Your skills:

- A degree in the fields of Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar subject.
- Profound practical experiences with Python necessary; other related languages are a plus.
- Proven familiarity with Machine Learning in an productive environment; Deep Learning is a plus.
- Hands on skills with relational and NoSQL technologies, e.g. PostgreSQL, Big Query, MongoDB, Hadoop and Spark (Streaming).
- Fluency in English with the willingness to learn German.
