Role: Support Analyst
Rate: £300 - £400 per day
Location: Leicester
Contract: 6 Months

We’re looking for an experienced Support Analyst to support a number of software development teams delivering apps/applications solutions to their mobile workforces. The role is to cover project reporting, resource management and meeting facilitation, as well as product backlog administration and outward communication across virtual and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for the establishment and management of project reporting.
Develop positive relationships with Project Sponsors, Managers, and teams to enable effective communication and reporting across distributed teams.
Act as a reference point for progress queries and information.
Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are accurate and complete
Track and report on project performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive and prioritised view of all projects
Own and manage the Programme/Project Plan.
Manage Programme/Project Costs - includes internal and external resources plus internal and external non-resource costs.
Manage the provision of materials and admin support for Programme/Project Governance groups including Programme/Project Board.
Own and manage RAID Log
Own and manage defect tracking
Provide weekly and monthly reporting services as required.
Support the development of junior PMO Administrators as required.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding of contract resources.
Challenge and support the Programme/Project work streams in delivery of milestones with specific focus on protecting the critical path.
Escalate matters as appropriate.
Support and participate in Programme/Project meetings.

Requirements

Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of IT Project Management
Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful Project Management from a Support perspective
Proven experience in providing leadership, guidance, problem solving and diplomacy skills to internal and external stakeholders
Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes with a fast-paced environment
Experience of working in an Agile environment
Experience of working as PMO Analyst in a structured project environment using Prince2 or equivalent methodology
Experience of working within a large organisation.
Experience in extracting and reformatting data from MS Office suite and other IT Packages
Experience of interfacing with 3rd party consultants, suppliers and service providers
Experience of recording and maintaining logical dependencies between tasks and activities
Experience of working within financial control and reporting cycles
Desirably holding a relevant practitioner accreditation such as P3O, Prince 2 or APM
