Ahead of MTPcon London, Tony explores the importance of Mind the Product 2015.
Another year has flown by and we are continuing to see fantastic growth within the digital product management space. Across all areas of product we have seen exponential growth within the UK, particularly London. It’s an exciting time to be attending Mind the Product this year, bringing together some of the best people within the international product community.
Mind the Product’s website states “one of the best ways to learn about Product Management is from peers, and for product people to socialise with like-minded people.” This couldn’t be truer than in the digital product management market.
On Monday we saw a panel of great speakers at Product Tank London, hosted by The BBC, delivering a strong message on how lean practises are influencing product development. This was a sell-out event with a record number of people on the waiting list, demonstrating how vital product is to the digital space.
Friday the 11th of September is MTPcon London, with some of the most well respected speakers including Amanda Richardson (VP Product, Hotel Tonight), Shiva Rajaraman (VP Product, Spotify) and someone who we have recruited for directly, Nilan Peiris, VP Growth & Product at TransferWise.
TransferWise is an international money transfer company and one of London's hottest start-ups, working in the booming area of fintech. At Xcede we are working with a number of similar emerging tech city start-ups and established brands. We are continuously building their product teams from product executives up to VP’s/Heads of Product using our extensive knowledge and unrivalled network, one of the reasons why Mind the Product is an event that we always look forward to attending.
Mind the Product, defines product management as the intersection between Business, Tech and Design (IxD/UX) and we are certainly expected to see a collection of all of these areas at the world’s biggest product management event. See you there!
